This year's event takes place on May 2 in downtown Sudbury.The race grew out of the Sudbury Fitness Challenge Sun Run six years ago with about 400 participants. Organizers added a full marathon and eventually brought the run downtown. Last year, about 1,500 runners and walkers took part.
