  • No reason to shut down Parliament - John S. Gaul Sudbury (www.thesudburystar.com)

Other governments, in the past, were able to deal with equally vexing problems without shutting down Parliament. If the Conservatives are unable to walk and chew gum at the same time, perhaps we need a new government

The current Conservative governments never changes. If it cannot get its way on legislation it has no qualms in altering the current conventions of public office in order to gain any advantage it an in order to prolong its stay in office. Shutting down Parliament Is the act is a shoddy act by desperate dying government. . Canada, and Canadians deserve more respect from the government it elected .
